Free Informational Consultation

The no-obligation informational consultation lasts 15 to 20 minutes and is designed to clarify initial questions. You can briefly describe your concerns, and we will discuss whether treatment at New Leaf might generally be suitable. A detailed medical history, TCM diagnosis, or treatment does not yet take place during this consultation. These are part of the first regular session.

Initial Consultation

The first session consists of a detailed medical history consultation and a diagnosis according to Chinese Medicine. Depending on the time required, an acupuncture treatment can take place immediately afterwards or at a second appointment.

Initial Assessment
Duration: 20 to 60 minutes

Cost: CHF 50–150, depending on the duration of the session

Acupuncture per Session

Duration: 60 minutes
Cost: CHF 150

Additional Methods

Depending on the situation, complementary methods from TCM can be used, for example, ear acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, or electroacupuncture.

Cost: CHF 12.50 per method

Health Insurance

New Leaf is EMR-certified. Many supplementary insurance plans for complementary medicine cover a portion of the costs of acupuncture treatments.

Please clarify directly with your health insurance provider before starting treatment whether and to what extent acupuncture is covered by your policy.
